How wash & fold works
Bring your laundry in a bag — any bag — and we'll weigh it at intake. Items are sorted by color and fabric, washed in commercial-grade machines with hypoallergenic detergent, dried to your preferred setting, and folded by hand. We can add fabric softener, skip the dryer sheets, use fragrance-free detergent, or bag items separately if you're splitting between roommates or family members.
Pricing
Wash & fold is priced by the pound with a standard minimum. It's usually dramatically cheaper than dry cleaning for everyday clothes. Membership tiers include a weekly allowance of wash & fold weight as part of the flat monthly rate — most busy families save meaningful money by moving their regular laundry to the plan.
What we take
Everyday clothes, t-shirts, jeans, underwear, socks, gym clothes, towels, bedding, pillowcases, dishcloths. We ask that you pull out 'dry clean only' items and delicates — we'll happily clean those, they just don't belong in a wash-and-fold bag. Check pockets before dropping off.
Free pickup and delivery
Pickup is free across Wheaton, Silver Spring, Kensington, Rockville, and select DC neighborhoods. Schedule by phone and we'll pick up on your preferred day; clean, folded laundry is delivered back within 24-48 hours in most cases.
